Description

Indulge in the irresistible combination of pizza and pot pie with these Cheesy, Saucy Pizza Pot Pies. Packed with savory pizza flavors and a flaky, golden crust, this comforting dish is perfect for a cozy family dinner or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

– 1 batch homemade pizza dough or 1 pound store-bought pizza dough

– 1 cup marinara sauce

– 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1 cup diced pepperoni

– 1 cup sliced mushrooms

– 1/2 cup diced bell pepper

– 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

– 1 teaspoon dried oregano

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. – Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. – On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, approximately 12×16 inches.

3. – Grease a 12-cup muffin tin and press the dough into the cups, creating a well in the center of each one.

4. – In a mixing bowl, combine the marinara sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, pepperoni, mushrooms, bell pepper, and black olives (if using). Season with oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

5. – Spoon the filling mixture into the dough-lined muffin cups, filling them about 3/4 full.

6. – Bake the pizza pot pies for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

7. – Allow the pot pies to cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, omit the pepperoni and add extra vegetables. You can also experiment with different pizza toppings to customize the filling.
