Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

– 2 teaspoons baking powder

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1 1/2 cups milk

– 2 eggs

– 2 tablespoons rose water

– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

– Vegetable oil for cooking

– Rose petals for garnish (optional)


Instructions

1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and rose water.

3. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and whisk until just combined (do not overmix).

4. Stir in the melted butter.

5. Heat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly coat with vegetable oil.

6. Scoop about 1/4 cup of batter per pancake onto the hot surface.

7. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

Notes
