Ingredients
– 1 pound ground breakfast sausage
– 2 cups shredded hashbrowns
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 2 eggs, beaten
– 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. – Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a mini muffin tin.
2. – In a large bowl, mix together the sausage, hashbrowns, cheese, eggs, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
3. – Scoop the mixture into the prepared mini muffin cups, filling them about 3/4 full.
4. – Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and cooked through.
5. – Serve hot, with your favorite dipping sauce on the side.
Notes
For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the mixture. These bites can also be made ahead and reheated in the oven before serving.
