Ingredients

– 1 lb sushi-grade ahi tuna, cut into 1-inch thick steaks

– 2 tbsp soy sauce

– 2 tbsp honey

– 1 tbsp sesame oil

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tsp grated fresh ginger

– 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

– 2 green onions, thinly sliced

– Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. – Pat the tuna steaks dry and season generously with salt and pepper.

2. – In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.

3. – Heat a large skillet or grill pan over high heat. Sear the tuna for 2-3 minutes per side, until the outside is crispy and the center is still rare.
