Description

Indulge in the bold, Cajun-inspired flavors of these Spicy Bayou Deviled Eggs! A creamy, zesty filling made with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and Cajun seasoning is piped back into the egg whites, creating a delicious and eye-catching appetizer.


Ingredients

– 12 hard-boiled eggs

– 1/2 cup mayonnaise

– 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

– 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning, plus more for garnish

– 1/4 teaspoon paprika

– 2 green onions, thinly sliced


Instructions

1. – Slice the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks, placing them in a medium bowl.

2. – Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning, and paprika to the yolks. Mash and mix until well combined and creamy.

3. – Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.

4. – Sprinkle the deviled eggs with additional Cajun seasoning and top with sliced green onions.

5. – Chill the deviled eggs in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra kick, you can add a few dashes of hot sauce to the yolk mixture. These deviled eggs can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
