Description

Indulge in the irresistible blend of creamy spinach and artichoke dip wrapped in a soft, pull-apart Christmas bread for a mouthwatering holiday appetizer.

Ingredients

– 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

– 1 (10 oz) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

– 1 (16 oz) loaf refrigerated French bread dough

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch round baking dish.

2. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, artichoke hearts, spinach, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper until well combined.

3. Unroll the French bread dough and cut it into 12 equal pieces. Flatten each piece into a round disc.

4. Place a heaping tablespoon of the spinach-artichoke dip mixture in the center of each dough disc. Gather the dough around the filling and pinch to seal, forming a ball.

5. Arrange the filled dough balls in the prepared baking dish, packing them tightly together.

6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the dip is bubbly.

7. Allow the bread to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For an extra cheesy version, sprinkle additional mozzarella cheese on top before baking. Serve with crackers, pita chips, or crusty bread for dipping.
