Description

Ingredients

– 8 cups cubed bread

– 1 cup diced celery

– 1 cup diced onion

– 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth

– 2 eggs, beaten

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

1. – Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2. – In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread, diced celery, and diced onion.

3. – In a separate bowl, whisk together the broth, beaten eggs, melted butter, poultry seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

4. – Pour the broth mixture over the bread mixture and stir until well combined.

5. – Transfer the stuffing mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.

6. – Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.

7. – Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

– For a heartier dish, you can add cooked sausage or diced chicken to the stuffing.

– Leftover stuffing can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
