This Sweet & Spicy Pickle Slaw is a crunchy, flavor-packed side dish that’s perfect for any meal. Shredded cabbage, tangy pickles, and a zesty dressing come together in a delightful balance of sweet and spicy.

Ingredients

– 4 cups shredded green cabbage

– 1 cup diced dill pickles

– 1/2 cup mayonnaise

– 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

– 1 tablespoon honey

– 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

– In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and diced pickles.

– In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

– Pour the dressing over the cabbage and pickles and toss to coat evenly.

– Chill the slaw for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

– Serve chilled or at room temperature as a side dish or topping for your favorite main courses.

Notes

This slaw can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. The longer it sits, the more the flavors will develop. You can also customize the spice level by adjusting the amount of cayenne pepper.
