Description

Discover the secret to our Speedy 20-Minute Thai Basil Beef Rolls – a delightful appetizer that blends savory beef, aromatic basil, and a burst of fresh flavors.

Ingredients

– 1 pound thinly sliced beef sirloin

– 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tablespoons soy sauce

– 1 tablespoon fish sauce

– 1 teaspoon brown sugar

– 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, combine the sliced beef, garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.

2. Lay a basil leaf on a flat surface. Place a small amount of the marinated beef in the center of the leaf. Tightly roll the leaf around the beef, creating a small roll.

3. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the Thai basil beef rolls and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until the beef is cooked through and the basil leaves are slightly crisp.

4. Remove the rolls from the heat and serve immediately, garnished with additional fresh basil leaves if desired.
