Ingredients

– 8 cups cubed bread (1-inch pieces)

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 1 large onion, diced

– 3 celery stalks, diced

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 cup chopped fresh parsley

– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme

– 1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage

– 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– 1 1/2 cups vegetable broth


Instructions

1. – Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. – In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed bread.

3. – In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and celery, and sauté for 5-7 minutes, until softened.

4. – Add the garlic and sauté for an additional minute, until fragrant.

5. – Transfer the sautéed vegetables to the bowl with the bread cubes.

6. – Add the parsley, thyme, sage, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine.

7. – Gradually add the vegetable broth, gently mixing until the bread is evenly moistened.

8. – Transfer the stuffing mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish.

9. – Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.

10. – Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can substitute some of the vegetable broth with melted butter. This stuffing can also be prepared in advance and baked just before serving.
