Description

Whole30 Marry Me Chicken is a delicious and healthy dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy, flavorful sauce. This easy-to-make recipe is perfect for a quick weeknight meal and is Whole30-friendly.

Ingredients

– 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tbsp lemon juice

– 1 tsp dried oregano

– 1 tsp dried basil

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 400°F.

2. – Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

3. – In a large oven-safe skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken on both sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

4. – In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, and basil.

5. – Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.

6. – Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes.

7. – Serve the Whole30 Marry Me Chicken warm, with the creamy sauce spooned over the top. Enjoy!

Notes

For a lower-calorie option, you can use half-and-half or unsweetened almond milk instead of heavy cream. Serve with cauliflower rice or zucchini noodles for a Whole30-friendly meal.
