Description

Indulge in the irresistible combination of buttery, flaky crescent roll dough and a rich, nutty pecan pie filling in these easy-to-make Pecan Pie Crescent Rolls. Perfect for a quick snack, dessert, or holiday treat.

Ingredients

– 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough

– 1 cup chopped pecans

– 1/2 cup brown sugar

– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. 2. In a medium bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

3. 3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles. Place a heaping tablespoon of the pecan mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.

4. 4. Roll up the triangles, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the narrow tip. Place the crescent rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

5. 5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.

6. 6. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a more decadent twist, try drizzling the baked crescent rolls with a simple powdered sugar glaze. You can also experiment with different nut varieties, such as walnuts or almonds, in place of the pecans.
