  • 2-pound: beef (chuck roast or round roast).

  • 1.5 tablespoons: olive oil or vegetable oil.

  • 3 teaspoons: dried minced onion.

  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning.

  • 3/4 cup: beef broth or water.

  • 1 lime, juiced.

  • 1/2 cup: chopped cilantro.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

in a large bowl, Season The beef with seasoning taco.Select the “sauté” function on the instant pot, add the olive oil, adjust the heat and heat oil.

Step 2

Add the beef and fry it until it is browned on both sides.TheN add the broth into the pot, cover the pot and close the pressure release valve and cook for 1 hour with high pressure.

Step 3

When the cooking time is over, Release the pressure naturally for 10 minutes.

Step 4

Remove the beef to a large plate, shred it using 2 forks.

Step 5

Return it to the Instant Pot. Add lime juice, chopped cilantro with stirring and allow the liquid to reduce until your desired consistency.

Step 6

Serve it and enjoy in tacos.
