Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
In a small bowl, combine together the granulated garlic powder, onion powder, cumin and coriander to create a seasoning mixture.
Step 2
Cut the racks in half or into chunks of 2 or 3 ribs so that they can easily fit in the instant pot. Place them in a large bowl and season evenly with the seasoning blend.
Step 3
Add 1cup of water in the instant pot. Add and arrange the ribs side by side. Add the diced onion and pour the BBQ sauce over the ribs.
Step 4
Cover the pot, set your instant pot to the “Soup/Stew” function and cook for about 30 minutes.
Step 5
When the time is over, allow the pressure to release naturally.
Step 6
Optional: Preheat your broiler. Remove the ribs from the pot to a single layer on a tinfoil lined baking sheet. Broil the ribs until they are browned well on each side for about 5 minutes per side.
Step 5
Brush the ribs with the remaining BBQ sauce in the pot.
Step 5
Serve immediately and enjoy it!
